August 2008 - Kilts by Lindsay are thrilled to report that Brian Wilson won the World Championship Drum Major competition at the World Championships in Glasgow on 16th August. Brian has chosen Kilts by Lindsay to make his last three kilts.
April 2008 - Kilts by Lindsay has been chosen by Scott Blair Ltd to make the new kilts for Strathclyde Police Pipe Band. There will be 42 kilts in all which will be made over a period of months as required. The first six kilts have been delivered in time for the band’s trip to Australia.
August 2007 - Kilts by Lindsay are now supplying doublets for pipe bands at very competitive prices.
Quality hand sewn kilts to order are also available with matching pipers' plaids and belted drummers plaids. Cross belts and waist belts will also be available in a range of styles, with scalloped or plain buckles. Diced and tartan hose to match kilts will also be available at competitive prices. All of the above will be guaranteed "made in Scotland".
May 2007 - North Devon Pipes and Drums who play in the Devon original tartan have ordered replacement kilts and plaids through Kilts by Lindsay. The first half dozen are now on order and the remainder will be ordered periodically until the entire band has been re-fitted. This represents a major boost for the Coldharbour Mill tartans which are sold under exclusive rights to Kilts by Lindsay.
Kilts by Lindsay are delighted to announce the sponsorship of Claire Crosbie, of Clair Crossbie TaeKwon Do. Claire, from Blackridge, who is a winner of several major tournaments, has taken delivery of a kilt in Royal Stewart along with two polo shirts with her logo embroidered on them.
January 2006 - In a joint venture with Coldharbour Mill, Kilts by Lindsay announce they have the exclusive rights to produce the Coldharbour Mill Trust registered tartans.
